Orientation Meeting

       Dong Thap University, 1 October 2024 . This story began with a very friendly welcome from the Academic Coordinator of the Dong Thap University Sea Teacher Program, Mr. Truc and the Transportation Coordinator, Ms. Loan. We conducted a self-introduction session from each university and were also given souvenirs and ID cards to stay in the campus area and undergo this program until the end, not forgetting to also take documentation with all members of the sea teacher program and meet with our companions while in Vietnam. We also conduct DThU tours as an introduction to the campus environment. This orientation meeting was held at the English hangout club (Building H1). That's when we met with our respective supervisors.    Attachment

A. Purpose of Practice      The SEA Teacher Project or "Pre-service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia" is a project that aims to provide opportunities for pre-service teacher students from universities in Southeast Asia to gain teaching experience (practicum) in schools in other countries in Southeast Asia.      The purpose of the teaching practicum is to provide an opportunity for us as prospective teachers to apply the educational theories that have been learned, such as teaching strategies, classroom management, and assessment of learning outcomes. Practicum School Visit

       Cao Lanh, October 2, 2024. We made our first visit to the school that will be our practicum place, namely the Future school. We were explained a lot about the concept of the school, about the curriculum, subjects, buildings, infrastructure, and extracurricular activities, etc. We also introduced each university to the school, conducted a cendramata submission session, and a joint documentation session. We were invited to tour the school to see the building and the classroom that we will occupy to conduct observation and practicum. Meeting the students of his school made us very happy, and felt touched by the warm welcome from all of them.    Attachment
